‘SINGA!’ is a living objet brand pursuing colors of ceramic that are founded from fire by chance.

Its source is come from natural objects we are used to, food.
It observes and records the hidden side of material that we don’t realize.


Work Introduction :
Like the ceramic colors that are intended but actually not intended, the surrounding environment constantly interacts, changes, and sometimes emits different colors. We may tie things together in a large category like "Apple – Red," but we may not link a single object to a single color, just like the greenish blue or the color from insect nibbling on something, making it soft.
The artist tends vegetable garden with her father, observes and investigates the surrounding, especially the food. She desires to show the different figures of vegetables that are hard to be prescribed by one shape of color using the colors of ceramic. Colors of ceramic is very accidental but intended. It is attractive in a way that it’s possible to express with the same area of color by touching the temperature and soil you use, from the clean and smooth color of well-ripen fruit to stuffed texture of dried fruit after harvest. Also, the feature of vertical lines on work is related to the development of work. Fruit doesn’t just grow its volume; it develops a constant cycle of life like making growth ring. It keeps the kernel inside and grows in its own way. The artist’s photographic record shows colors and figures of vegetables from that garden. This record of garlic from plant to harvest expresses the fruit as it is, and plays a foundation role of ceramic.

Through observation, capture, and the process of representing, she intends to show various sides of our surrounding with colors of ceramic. She desires to endure the curiosity and wake-up call by the process of genuinely representing the growth of vegetable that cannot be defined by one color.

偶然の火から生まれたセラミックの色を追求するリビングオブジェブランドです。
その源は私たちが慣れ親しんでいる自然のもの、
食べ物です。
私たちが気づかない素材の隠れた側面を観察し記録しています


意図しているようで実は意図していない陶器の色のように、
周囲の環境は常に相互作用し、変化し、時には異なる色を発しています。
私たちは「りんご＝赤」のような大きなカテゴリーで物事を結びつけることはあっても、緑がかった青や、虫がかじって柔らかくなった色のように、一つの物を一つの色に結びつけることはありません。

作家は父と一緒に家庭菜園をしながら、周囲の環境、特に食べ物を観察し調べています。

陶器の色を使って、一つの色の形では表現しにくい野菜の姿を表現したいと考えています。
陶器の色はとても偶然的でありながら、意図されたものです。
よく熟した果物のきれいで滑らかな色から、
収穫後のドライフルーツの詰め物のような質感まで、
使う温度や土に触れることで、
同じ色の面積で表現できるのが魅力です。

また、作品に縦のラインが入っている特徴は、
作品の展開にも関係しています。果実は単に体積を増やすだけではなく、成長環を作るように一定のサイクルを展開します。
果実は内部に核を保持し、独自の方法で成長します。
作家の写真記録には、その庭で採れた野菜の色や姿が写っています。
植物から収穫までのニンニクの記録は、
果実をありのままに表現し、陶芸の基礎的な役割を果たしています。


デザイナーがハンドメイドで作成しています。
生産に時間がかかるため少量のみの入荷となっております。
お香立てだけでなくアクセサリー置きやトレイとしてもご利用可能です。
